Terms of Service

The short version. STT helps you organise trips. It's free to use, it can be wrong (especially the AI parts), and you're responsible for checking anything important with the airline, hotel or venue before you travel.

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], [POSTAL ADDRESS] ("we"), for the Silly Travel Tool website and apps ("STT"). By creating an account or using STT you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 (16 in the EU/UK) to use STT.
Keep your sign-in details and your private Goose inbox address to yourself. Anything sent to that address can be added to your trips.
You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at hello@sillytraveltool.com if you think someone else is using it.

3. What STT is, and isn't

STT is an organiser and guide. It is not a travel agent, airline, hotel or booking platform: we don't sell, change or cancel reservations. Your bookings are contracts between you and the provider.

Times, gates, prices, weather, emergency numbers, exchange rates and opening hours can change or be wrong. Always confirm important details with the provider, and in an emergency follow local authorities.

4. AI features

Goose uses AI to read booking emails and write guides, picks, packing lists and phrases. AI output can be inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, and is marked "Suggested by Goose (AI)". Check it before relying on it, and use the Report link to flag problems. Fair-use limits apply so the service stays available for everyone.

5. Your content

You own what you add to STT. You give us permission to store and process it only to run STT for you (and for people you share a trip with). Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse STT: no attempts to access other people's data, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, use it to send spam (including through invites), or use the AI features to generate harmful content.

7. Sharing trips

When you invite someone, they can see the trip, and with edit access they can change it. You can remove them at any time. Only invite people who expect to hear from us.

8. Changes and availability

STT is provided free of charge and may change, pause or end. We'll give reasonable notice before ending the service so you can save your information. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using STT at any time and ask us to delete your account (Profile → Settings → Delete account, or email us). Sections 3, 4, 10 and 11 continue to apply after that.

10. Liability

STT is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for missed flights, reservations, losses or costs that come from relying on information in STT, including AI suggestions, or from outages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION]. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in. Please contact us first so we can try to fix any problem.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use STT after that means you accept the new terms.
